One of the best bargains I ever ran across was when I picked up a rather tattered but still very cool album of WW stamps commemorating the US Bicentennial. Included in the album was a complete set of the stamps Laos destroyed. As I recall the story a small number of stamps were issued and fewer still made their way into the hands of collectors. The Laotian government demanded the return of the stamps that had been released but as you can see not everyone complied. Fewer than 10,000 sets now exist and I have one of them!
