Charities and non-profits that welcome unwanted stamps

The APS (American Philatelic Society). Here's what they're looking for (and what they can't accept, as well) and where to send them:

However, they don't mention accepting stamp donations on their webpage.

The Postal History Foundation, which, like the APS, has a large youth education program:

At the end of their list, they say they can basically use stamps issued within the last 20 years. They also like foreign stamps for their topical files.

A couple of companies in the UK accepting stamps for a wide variety of charities:

GiveNow is a directory of some charities/organisations in Australia. 

A comment from elsewhere inferred that donating stamps to charity (outside the UK) is an alien concept... It shows in the information I was able to find in a few clicks of google search pages - plenty of UK charities accepting stamps but struggling to find ones outside (cancer research, other disease charities, children's charities)...

A comment on Twitter from a query about this pointed me towards a stamp club in Illinois - they do an annual charity stamp auction for Stamp Out Cancer. Perhaps other stamp clubs also do charity auctions (let me know if any near you do ones, and I can pass this on to the stamp users/letter receivers - I was shocked to discover one of my penpals was chucking the covers in the bin...).

The Holocaust Stamp Project has surpassed its target. However, the word has spread and there's another Holocaust Stamp Project, this time, based in Canada. I came across a link to umm, another stamp forum, with further details. link, and the address is also posted on the Definitively Stamps facebook page.
