On the previous Stamp Bear site I had a posted information regarding the APS (American Philatelic Society) StampShow, taking place August 20 to 23, 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am re-posting it here and would like to suggest this be a goal for 2015. Anyone interested in seeing further information about the annual APS StampShows is welcome to go to this link for more information, stamps.org/STAMPSHOW-SS. You will see the 2015 show listed in the lower right.
Originally this idea came about on another forum that kacyds and tomd and I belonged to. We were semi-seriously batting around the idea of meeting somewhere and I suggested that since I knew this show was coming, why not here in Grand Rapids, MI.
I work in the hotel that is attached to the convention center (DeVos Place) where the show will be taking place.
I hope all of you will give it some thought and perhaps start planning a little vacation time here in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2015!
I am even thinking about offering my backyard for a casual Stamp Bears gathering! Hmm...I might even tell my wife about this...like maybe the night before it happens.
