I had a chest cold for about three weeks. It just kept getting worse. It got where I couldn't breathe so I went to our walk in Clinic the Day before New Years. They sent me to Graying,Mich to the Hospital. My oxygen level was low and I only had about ten percent capacity in each of my lungs. So they opened my airways, My lungs with IV's and put me on oxygen. Then took chest x-rays looking for pneumonia or Bronchitis. They found a Tumor in the upper Lobe of my Right Lung. They gave me another shot to open my airways a little further and then they sent me home and to my Family Doctor the next day. So I went to my Dr and he put me on Anti-biotic s for ten days and gave a script for a Nebulizer. I still have the chest cold 8 weeks later but it hasn't gotten tight like it did before when I went to ER. Anyway my DR said he thought I needed a PET Scan to make sure the tumor wasn't malignant. So I had the PET scan Wedesday. The Dr's office just called about an hour ago and said I have an appointment with My Family Doctor. Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. So he must have gotten the results of the PET scan already. I know with Anita (My Wife) and her Cancer last year it was Bang, Bang, Bang. They didn't waste any time. So I'm not expecting to hear any good news Monday morning. Ken (our Son) said last night if it's not spread beyond my right upper lobe. They can take that part of my Lung out and the cancer will be gone. No other treatment will be necessary or if they caught it soon enough. Apparently There are two different kinds of Cancer? One is Fast Growing and spreads the other is slow growing. If it's the fast they would remove that part of my lung soon. If it's spread beyond my Lung then I would have to go through Radiation and or Chemotherapy. Besides have that part of my lung removed. There's nothing I can do
so I just put it in the hands of the Lord and let him handle it along with the Dr's. I'll know more Monday than I do now. I'll post next week when I find out what is going on. My wife said she is going with me Monday morning. The radiologist report from the Cat Scan at Grayling ER said a Biopsy would be extremely difficult. So I don't know if it was because of location of the Tumor or why.
Thanks for your prayers.
