I thought this would be a good topic to talk about and tell stories about the largest amount of the same stamp someone has in their collection. OR what would you do with 100 US flags kacyds ,
A few years ago I was trading with a lady and we had many great trades. She wrote to me and asked If I would like a few extra of the same stamps to trade, so I said sure. She played a little joke on me. Sent me 4 glassines of Japan Kingfisher definitive bird stamps. (over 350)
I don't mind getting a few (10) of the same stamp because I like to look for a nicest or clear postmarks. Plus there might be a perfin that someone didn't want in the bunch. A few years ago I went to my favorite stamp shop and the owner had a collection of stamps in bundles. ( I will post a picture when I get my seemystamps account updated)
