In 1982, Correos started to use phosphorescent paper for its stamps. In 1988, it re-issued the 10, 50 and 100 pesetas stamps of Andorra on phosphorescent paper that has a strong yellowish afterglow when held under a longwave uv lamp. In addition, it issued a new stamp with a face value of 500 pesetas.
