Here is one showing a "T" very clearly. My wife handed this to me and wanted to know if I needed the stamp. After seeing the spray on cancel, I knew exactly what I needed to do. Scan it and show it here.
Here it is....

Here is one that I received from frog today. It has two cancellations on the cover, the odd one being the receiving post office. Kind of reminds you 60+ years ago, when the receiving PO would cancel the back of the cover.

Thanks for the offer JanetC , but I don't collect them. Normally I post them here and then shred them...
I assume you are joking when you say you shred these cancels. Horror of horrors. When out of the mainstream collecting items come along I put the items in a binder by themselves. I just use the cheapest pages I can find, usually just scribbler paper.
But shred them, not a chance. That's just plain nasty. I even keep those printed envelopes that bills are mailed in. (cut square of course)
I keep one of each no matter what it is. (any difference is a new type) Will post a page of examples later.
