Stampie78 Does collect Christmas Seals Progressive Proofs.

I have always collected Christmas/Easter/Charity seals as a sideline, only because they showed up in mail around Christmas and Easter.

Also just about every box lot of stamps I bought there would be a bunch in the box. Then later the lung assn. came up with a program that for a contribution of $20.00 ( I think it was  $20 - so long ago) I would get the regular seals plus a set of progressive proofs and a few "to" "from" tags plus some other stuff. I kept that up till the program just seemed to disappear. Another great source for the regular seals was the Post Office trash bin in the lobby. Many people just tossed them in the bin when they got them in their mail. I would pick the trash each time I went to the PO and I ended up with hundreds of seals which went into a box for further/future sorting. I have sorted quite a few of them and will post when I feel like it.
