Severe progressive ink stripping of a 1949 ½d strip of 8

This strip of 8 unwatermarked stamps was issued on September 15, 1949. It is very scarce and shows 3 stamps on the left being affected by ink stripping, starting from the third stamp and progressing to the first stamp, both the second and first stamp being the worst affected. The kangaroo, the text and value on the first stamp nearly completely disappearing.
