Ok here's my (multi-part) story. Pictures will follow ...
It begins this morning when I start to put together some 25-stamp sets for Bear's stamp lottery. I sift through the stamp clutter on my kitchen table looking for Canada duplicates ... found them! So I'm looking down through the duplicates and I see that I have five extra sets of that issue, I can definitely spare one ... so ok into the envelope it goes. Oops only have TWO extra sets of that issue ... better not ... what else do I have? And so it goes ...
I've filled one 25-stamp entry with Canada definitive duplicates ... what's next? How about these US flag stamps I've been working on. I've got lots of extras of these. But then I think to myself "these are common as dirt ... is someone really going to be happy to get these?" and then I think "heck yeah, look how much fun I'VE had sorting them out!!". So in they go ... another 25-stamp set filled ...
Last bit for this morning ... maybe some Machins, I've got TONS of extras of those. So I start to grab a few from my well sorted pages
(see picture posted later) and I stall ... what if that 7p Machin I grab is the elusive left band phospher with FCP paper and thick elements (T1) and a B2 head with dex gum and DP28A cut right??? I haven't sorted and identified all of these yet!! Hmm maybe I'll wait on the Machins til I get them sorted (like in 2024 maybe).
