Hi folks,

I'm a stamp collector. Been collecting since I was 11 years old when my mom gave me the stamp album she used in her youth.

I collect 19th century imperforate stamps, overprints, Israel MNH tabs, some definitive sets with cool graphic themes presented in different color schemes (I tend towards MNH on these versus Used) and a number of topicals (Music, Composers, Portraits, Graphics and Holocaust).

I occasionally buy collections and sometimes resell parts of them, but due to many of my other non-philatelic interests, my actual "stamp table" time is somewhat limited.

I enjoy reading about stamps, their history, collecting methods and ways of organizing/presenting collections and stories about stamp collectors and what got them interested in the hobby and what keeps them active in the hobby.

yirmeyahu, welcome. I just joined earlier this month. This is the place to be if you have interests in all aspects of stamps. I collect Worldwide and don't really specialize in anything. I jump from one topic to another at the drop of a stamp. A wealth of information on this site. Lots of very well informed stampers. (i'm not one of them) Have fun.
