Two on Stamps and the Bible Two on Kingfishers, one from a human point of view and one from the kingfisher`s! Quite an old book called something like "The stories of stamps" - from the early(ish) 20th century. One very colourful children`s book called Mr. Seahorse, where a male seahorse goes around talking to all the male animals in the ocean who take a much greater part in their reproduction than most animals do! (It`s the male seahorses that carry and give birth to the live babies! - you can see it on Youtube!) I`m not near them right now to give you accurate titles
Collecting Australia, New Zealand, Channel Islands, Canada, U.S., St-Pierre et Miquelon, Faroe Islands Topical - Seahorses, Paleophilately, Machins (limited), kingfishers, trees, horoscope & zodiac, O`Higgins (Chile), Lake Baikal.
I am reading First Class, a history of Britain in 36 postage stamps... not really about the stamps themselves but about the history at the time... I will be finding out next about the three halfpenny red and what was happening at the time.
I am a letter writer, snailmail addict. I send therefore I receive. I also manage a letter writing/correspondence forum called A World of Snail Mail and have a blog (link is in my profile). I sometimes post pictures on Instagram (username morgaine_does_snail_mail) Stamp themes - science, nature, postal history, maps, nice stamps.
A book that I have had on my shelf and has proven useful more than several times is Webster's New Geographical Dictionary. If you are geographically challenged this is a great resource for helping to identify countries, cities, regions, etc...Taken a sudden interest in Kionga? This is where you find out more.
No longer in denial! I collect all of it...the whole world! Just printing and mounting as I go! Call me crazy.
