Which Stamp is Mentioned in Cheers

Excellent, clivel! Kudos! I listened again with my external monitor speakers instead of my laptop speakers, and it is a clear "Paul Revere". I guess I need to quit watching these YouTube videos at the office with my laptop speakers!

Here's what's interesting. The 2 panes he pulled out are clearly not Paul Revere commemoratives. In particular, there are no US Paul Revere commemoratives!!! There is a 25c Paul Revere stamp from the Liberty Series (regular issue in pane of 100, not commemorative pane of 50).

There is a postrider stamp, Scott US #1478(22Jun1973), from the "Communications in Colonial Times" series commemorating the American Bicentennial. That stamp, is occasionally misinterpreted as Paul Revere's midnight ride -- but it's just a postrider in daytime with his horn. However, the panes he pulled did not match that stamp.

Again, the stamp (and selvage), to me, when I pause the panes at various times, is the Ponce de Leon issue. I suspect they grabbed whatever stamp pane was available at the post office to use as a prop.
