Yes, I did. I don’t use mine, and I don’t really like it, mainly because of the flexible goose-neck stand. If you bring the scope down to the position you want, it will spring back upward a little, when you let go. So, you have to learn to overshoot your mark, so it’s reasonably close to the position you want. Also, when you reposition the head, it is moving in an arc, so the lens will be tilted a bit forward or backward after repositioning, so you have to adjust not only the height, but the vertical position of the head as well.

This all sounds easy enough, but with the high magnification, even a tiny movement puts your target out of the viewing area. And repositioning is made more maddening because up is down and left is right. If I were to do it again, I would get one on a solid upright stand with a knob to adjust the vertical position.

We have a stamp bourse here in Grand Rapids, MI, on June 18, hosted by the Kent Philatelic Society. My wife is gifting me $100 to spend for Father's Day for the bourse. I really can't think of a better Father's Day gift than this.
