I really like it when they use older stamps for regular mail. Never know what you might get. Also on this one, it's cool that APS has their own postmark:

I'm glad that someone enjoys that. Myself, I always feel a little disappointed as I find it a lot more difficult to find modern stamp issues, especially used ones.
I don't dislike getting ANY mail with stamps, but I love to get mail with today's stamps on them a lot more. Something about the older stamps getting a postmark from many years later than their issue makes them not seem quite right to me. I prefer used stamps in my collection to have period postmarks, a 2013 mark on a stamp from 1980 wouldn't look right to me.
Worldwide collector of stamps and covers! I gave up on limiting to only certain countries.
I agree with zepherusbane, as a collector of US stamps, I would like to get modern stamps on my mail. I have a P.O. Box for my business and many times, I have gone thru the trash during the weekend and normal never see a stamp in there. 1774739874
