Family and Stamps.. a good combination?

Admittedly i have been very VERY lax in my stampyness as of late.. for a wide range of reasons and for the simple fact i lost my momentum...
last night i told the wife i was going to bust into my albums again today because i just need to focus on the collection and get reconnected..
she was over the moon!! i mean really excited about it.. huh?!?!? i recall a time when this was NOT the case at all.. but it turn out that the other hobby has been taking me out of the loop for a bit and she actually enjoys chatting with me when i have the collection out and even helping when i ask her to look something up for me (i do my stamps away from the computer to avoid the distraction and because of space considerations).
so after a break in my routine i am about to get very very stampy again.. i must admit it feels good to even have a plan at this point.. and with this will likely come me bugging her to scan for me while i work on pages

Have you ever had this type of change come over someone in your life? (note: i define "family" as anyone YOU count as family - with blood ties or not)
