Color Varieties of the 1851 3 cent Washington

I have always liked the three cent issue of the 1851 series of stamps.  I began collecting them more than 30 years ago.  My goal originally was to plate each one I owned and with the help of Chase's "The 3 cent Stamp of the United States 1851-1857 Issue" I was able to plate some of my stamps.  However, I later found I enjoyed the color varieties more, so I began a collecting the various colors.  The following images are pages from my collection denoting the various colors.  Each color has been compared and verified with the color charts of Dr. Carroll Chase or Dr. William F Amonette, both authorities on the color variation of the stamp.

This first plate is for Scott #10 and #10A issue.  It is almost complete.  I have not located any of the final three colors for this page.
