Hi
A little history. I have a friend who owns a stamp store. I do some work for him in breaking down collections for stock. When doing a Mexico collection I got frustrated in "flipping catalog pages" and decided something had to be done. That started the process of developing tables to assist in identifying stamps. The tables, essentially, gather the Scott catalog information into a single place. For instance; Scott, below a set, states "see 123, 56-78, ..." The tables trace that thread.
Over the years other tables that were needed, as well as requested documents, were added. The tables are stored in the Cloud. I have made them available to members of another board and have decided to make them available to members of this board, since there are a lot of World-Wide collectors here.
First, some rules regarding the usage of the tables:
1. The tables may not be published. There are no written permissions for using the catalog numbers
of various publishers and no written permissions for use of some documents. There are instances
where permissions have been granted for use of images.
2. The tables are for one's personal use only.
The tables are called StampRefs. The entire set of tables, or any single table(s), may be downloaded. In either case it is suggested that the _ReadMe file be downloaded and read. If downloading everything, make sure that everything is in a single folder. With the full set of tables there is a ReferencesIndex which contains links to all the tables and any table sections. From time to time there may be additions or corrections. Those will be noted within this thread and appropriate items can be updated. A lot of text for one or two links but it is a necessary evil.
