I have Leuchtturm albums for Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. But I don't bay new pages for them, to expensive. Therefore I have to make the newest pages myself, or continue to use variopages.
For Italy I have downloaded and printed out the entire and stored it in photo album binders. All the pages are put into plastic folders. I'm not satisfied with tis, as the plastic folders sink down when the album is standing up in the bookshelf. And I have no idea if the plastic is acid free, nor the paper.
For Spain I have downloaded and printed 1851?-1940?? and stored the same way as Italy. The same with Hungary, but from the start to 1995 I think. These where downloaded from stampalbumsweb (Steiners pages) but I did not like them. I don't like the system where you put air post I a much up page and don't have them together with the other stamps. The same with semipostal. These stamps where used by ordinary people, and should ater mho be treated as ordinary stamps in a colleltion. But the Officials should have their own pages . Therfore I want to make my own pages, or, use some witch fill my demands, like the Italian pages I have. (can't find the link to them now, but I have seen a link to the site here at SB)
I have tried to find a how to do a stamp album here at Stamp Bear, but had no luck. Seen a lot of nice pages and stamps.
So here are my questions.
1. What software to use to make pages and why.
2. What paper (weight, color, acifree,)
3. How to mount you stamps? (hinges, Hawid or similar )
4. What binder do you use? (2 ring, 3 ring, 4 ring plastic pokets (don't know the English name))
5. What more must I know? I know it will take a lot of time, and the first one I do, I have to replace later when I have learned more.
I rely look forward to hear your thoughts opinions on this, and if there is a tread covering all above, please point me to it
