Although stamps were issued while a German possession prior WWI, the Marshall Islands were the second US Trust Territory to issue its own stamps in 1984. Palau was the first US Trust Territory to issue its own stamps in 1983, and these stamps can be seen in k's Palau album.
My collection is housed in 5 KABE hingeless albums (2+2 posts), with the territories in color-coded binders rather than labels.
This thread is for my Marshall Islands collection which is housed in the 2 green binders at the left side.
The 1984 Christmas setenant strip of 4 (bottom of page in post above) is from a full pane of 16 stamps (4 setenant strips of 4). The background of the entire pane is part of the text from the New Testament in Marshalese, so every single stamp on the pane is actually "face different"!
As far as I know, KABE doesn't have a hingeless album page specifically for the full pane. But the Scott Specialty pages for the US Trust Territories does:
KABE is a European album manufacturer. And the Europeans album manufacturers love to put spaces for pairs from booklet panes, even if they aren't setenants! I prefer to have the entire booklet pane, or intact booklet. And I'm not prepared to purchase a booklet just to tear out 2 stamps to fill in a spot in the album.
Unfortunately, I don't think KABE produces illustrated hingeless pages specifically for each of these booklets. I'm not about to purchase the fixed format KABE hingeless pages, so it will be back to the Scott Specialty again!
