My 2019 Resolution/Health Challenge - Drop 26 Pounds.

An inauspicious start to my resolution.

The good news is, I finished another book.

I wish you all the support needed to achieve your goal. Breaking the snack habit is a tough one. My way of dealing with it was working on my stamp collection. I have a no drink or food rule in my stamp area.  It has helped me reduce my snacks .
my fiends think I am crazy when I tell them stamping helps control my blood sugars. It works for me.

You better believe it, stamping sure does keep you from eating and food and drink certainly does not mix with stamps. You put them anywhere close to each other and Murphys' law kicks in every time. Breaking the sweets and chips habit wasn't hard for me at all. It was a case of do it or die. No contest.  Besides, I have so many stamps that need my attention, I don't have enough time with everything else to even think of keeping up to date.

I'm 5'10", which means after losing 26 pounds I would still be overweight, according to the life insurance tables. But, if I make it to that weight, I think I could continue on down. I've got the coffee half of the equation down pretty good, but I'll have to pass on the coffin nails.

Good luck with your resolution! I struggle with weight myself, but last year I lost 30 pounds, but have put 10 of it back on already. I have to make a push to stick with the diet changes and additional exercise I had started last year.

When I first saw the subject line for this post, for some reason I read it as a resolution to go through 26 pounds of kiloware this year. Maybe that would be a good way to ensure some weight loss since you would be hunched over a table so busy sorting, soaking, and drying stamps you wouldn't have time for pie?

Canadian Tire coupons, also known as Canadian Tire Money is part of a loyalty program for this chain of stores. It started out mainly as an automotive store. It still exists today with a much larger offering of goods ranging from auto parts,sport equipment, home decor, gardening , lawn care and even some food offerings these days.

When  making a purchase the customer receives a percentage of the sale in “coupons”or “ money”. This could be collected and used at anytime for purchasing any item at the store.

i collected for quite awhile and has $20 worth to buy my first pair of skates. I think I had to only pay $10 of real money for my skates. 
I am not sure if they are still used as they moved to an electronic points system years ago.

They were in various low denominations 1,2,3,5,10 cents I remember for sure. There was a $1 as well. I rarely ever got one of those.
