AAAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHH Death of a Stamp!!!

Even cut to shape it still has some value according to the 2017 Scott catalog so not a total loss

I was hoping to add this to my ten pence stamp of the same configuration. Will keep the home fires burning so one finds its way home

Personally, if I didn't care about catalog value (unfortunately, I do), I prefer them cut to shape. I like them that way.
I'd hate to try to cut-to-shape some of those zig-zag or wavy embossings of other countries! I don't think I've ever deliberately cut something to shape (other than rectangle, that is), because I learned early on that it was now a "frowned upon" practice.
