This block of 20 2d sesquicentennial commemorative stamps with imprint shows all three rare stamps. The Man with Tail is the first stamp on the top right, the Pantaloon is the second stamp on the bottom left and the Koala in tree is the third stamp on the bottom left. This block is very rare and very seldom seen.

Perforation 13½ x 14. Very early state of plate crack below imprint. No perforation pip. This stamp is the only known variety of this type in existence and is extremely rare, the following plate cracks; the early state of plate crack and the late state of plate crack make a unique combination as all three show the progression of the plate starting to wear and cracking. The cracking was caused by the new Government Printer burnishing (scraping off) the Ash imprint and re-engraving his name in its place, causing the plates to wear quickly and cracking.
Coil Perforation - Gutter block of 8 with imprint at bottom right corner. The double void lines in the gutter was a security feature to prevent counterfeiters from using the blank gutters to reproduce stamps.
Foggy Hills Retouch. The foggy hills retouch is the most extensive of all commonwealth retouches. The stamp on the bottom right shows the sky retouched, also, the hill has been stripped of shading giving the hill a white faded appearance.
