MUH vertical pair of the 1941 5mm perforation displacement

The 2019 edition of the ACSC states “A used example with perforations misplaced 5mm to the right is known”. The stamp illustrated in the ACSC is a single 3d brown KGVI with the left side imperforated.
The vertical pair above is the MUH example of the same stamp with the 5mm displacement but with both sides imperforate, it is unrecorded and is considered rare.
There is talk that it was either part of the hoard of material stolen from the Note Printing Branch in the 1940’s; or that it was accidentally added to a batch of sheets that were dispatched to the Post Office.
There is no information as of yet about the background of this stamp or if anymore had survived outside of the two now known, the recorded used example and this vertical pair.
