Amos To Begin Offering Stanley Gibbons Products

I believe that Amos Advantage has been positioning themselves to become a significant supplier/retailer of philatelic and numismatic supplies. The fact that they are an offshoot of Amos Media is interesting, but I would not infer from this the future demise of SG, or perhaps that Amos Media will eventually end up acquiring the publishing rights of SG and start to publish their catalogs.

One has to admire the fact that they Amos Media has been working hard to diversify their business beyond the publishing of hobby periodicals and literature (e.g., Scott products). They have leveraged their infrastructure to sell their publications into a retail outlet. People come to AA because they want to purchase their Scott catalogues / supplements / etc. at a discount, and look! I can add all the supplies I need to my shopping cart. How convenient. Likewise, when people go to AA to shop for supplies, they have catalogs and supplements popping up in their faces, and there is that 25% discount.
