k doesn't collect Grace Lutheran Sanatorium Seals

I have the 1940 seal in a strip of five in a booklet that originally would have 5 strips of five seals. Booklet cost 25c.

I haven't finished posting the rest, but k No Longer Collects US Christmas Seals.

If you look at the 1965 above, they changed their name -- I assume in part due to the greatly reduced number of TB patients, and to better reflect the reality of their patient admissions. People do it all the time. For example, I was born with an Asian name. After I immigrated to the US, I needed to choose an American name -- so being a guy, I naturally chose Kim. Around the time I got married, my name got changed to Honey. A few years later, Lazy. Soon after that, Stupid. Now, it’s Hopeless.
And so, Grace Lutheran Sanatorium became Grace Lutheran Hospital.


And like me, the name got changed again a few years later. See the 1967 seal, Grace Lutheran Hospital became Lutheran General Hospital.
