Editing typos in Thread Titles?

I am pretty sure that this is something that requires an Admin to do.

This is a total "nit" that I'm picking, but I noticed that the title of this thread: stampbears.net/thread/5459 should be Show Your Philippines Stamps Here ... I wonder if it can be corrected?

I discovered this because I was Searching for this thread using >> Philippines << as my search term, and it did not show up.

I realize that changing the title of a thread is non-trivial, because the "slug" for the permanent link to that thread is based on the original title and if it changes it will break any bookmarks or links.

I collect:
- An undefinable subset of world-wide stamps, 1840-1963
- Stamps of Iceland, 1873-2003*
- Stamps with bees on them

I am a volunteer, and the webmaster, of Stamps for the Wounded (SFTW). SFTW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides stamps, covers, supplies, etc. to U.S. veterans.

Unfortunately, we were forced to make a change in board rules, and members can no longer edit posts after 24 hours. I was supposed to post an announcement (still on my list of things to do). Sorry about that.

I will go change the thread title.

In the future, when the edit time window has passed, you can PM one of the admin/mods and we can change it.

All you had to do was ask me and i would have corrected it. Some times people make mistakes . johnnyo.

I collect : Canada, United States, Australia ,France, Hungry, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, New Zealand, Romania, Yugoslavia, Russia, China, Italy, Austria, Ireland, British Empire, Poland, Japan, And mostly any where in the world in mint stamps.

I went to an admin because I was unsure whether it was possible to change by the thread creator once the thread was established.
