Hi all, A quick update on why I have been fairly quiet on here for a while. Last year (October) I handed my notice in at work as I was moving to Southampton (30 miles away from Bournemouth), to look after my mother who was becoming rather frail. I was asked to stay on part time (3 days a week) whilst they found a replacement. During this time my mother ended up going into hospital on my birthday (Feb 20th 2022), I officially finished work on the 30th March and in mid April Mum was due to come home but suddenly took a turn for the worse and was rushed from rehab to A & E.
Since then she was constantly up and down with her health until last Tuesday when she passed away, causes were many fold including pneumonia, heart failure, blood cancer plus others, then to top it all covid just to seal the deal.
Funeral will be the 23rd June, so until then will be busy organizing things. Just have a part time job of only 10 hours a week at present until things settle down again.
I try to keep up to date with posts on here as much as possible.

Martyn, my deepest condolences. It's been such a difficult period for you, after the loss of your brother, and now mother. Still, you have been more active on Stamp Bears and stamps than I have.
